Why I Love This Week
A laundry list of my plans for the week, because I am THAT excited and needed to share!
Monday: Today I had dinner with Peter, who I haven’t seen in so long! Trang was supposed to come, but she became stranded when she accidentally locked her keys in her car. Sounds like something I would do! We enjoyed some good food and good conversation and finally got to catch up. This guy is going to do big things in life, whether it’s becoming a firefighter or a lawyer. So proud of him :)
Tuesday: DineLA plans (Part 1) with Yan!! We’re going to a place called Vito for dinner, which is perfect because I’ve been craving Italian! After suffering through med school secondaries for the majority of summer, this is the little dinner date we need!
Wednesday: DineLA (Part 2) with my roomies plus Nghiem, who is now our honorary. And where you might ask?! FOGO DE FREAKING CHAO! I’m so excited for all-you-can-eat Brazilian food and I wanna get all the bang for my buck. Which means I’m going to devise a plan to slowly expand my stomach throughout the day so I can eat as much as possible. Hehe. I take my grubbing seriously.
Thursday: Hmm, nothing going on here. Probably will watch 5 episodes of Community while snuggled in bed with some hot cocoa! Or maybe start watching New Girl!
Friday: My parents are driving down from norcal to visit me and my sister this weekend. So they’ll be swooping me up after work and taking me to the OC. I get to see my mom’s side of the family, which means my grandparents and all my aunts, uncles, and cousins. It’s so nice to see family and it’s especially comforting to feel like I’m at home.
Saturday: Probably enjoying a lot of good Vietnamese food and watching No Reservations with my sister.
Sunday: My parents are dropping me off and heading back home. Easy, easy Sunday. In retrospect, or should I say in prospect (cause the rest of the week has yet to happen), I think I’ll pretty much be eating all weekend and enjoying time with friends and family. All the things I love the most :) This week is going to be splendid!
